Dan Weissman

Dan Weissman

Owner of Jaffa Parks, Dan is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Born in Iowa City and raised in Seattle, he began his career in the investment management division at Goldman Sachs & Co in New York. In 2004, Dan joined TradeLink Capital in Chicago where he managed its proprietary equities division. In 2011, Dan co-founded Jaffa.

When he’s not budgeting capital improvements or mapping infrastructure projects in CAD, Dan can be found hiking with his family on the trails of Mt. Tamalpais, or on his tractor grinding stumps.

Dave Shlachter

Dave Shlachter

Owner of Jaffa Parks, Dave is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and Harvard University.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Portland, he began his career as a legal reform consultant for clients including the Supreme Court of India, and later worked in Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv on an electric car infrastructure venture. In 2011, Dave co-founded Jaffa.

When he’s not chasing the next deal, you can find Dave shaping surfboards in his studio, exploring the California coast in his van, or putting his kids to work in the ever-expanding garden.

Jenny Wright

Jenny Wright

As Lead Accountant, Jenny handles all aspects of financial reporting and A/P for Jaffa. Her work ethic and next-level attention to detail has earned her the nickname “Eagle Eye” among colleagues.

Jenny was born in South Korea, shortly before her family immigrated to Sacramento, California in pursuit of the American Dream. As restaurant entrepreneurs, her parents demanded that she learn - from sweeping the floors to paying the bills - that success was earned. After school and a two-year stint at Wells Fargo, in 2003 Jenny joined Crowley Properties where she assisted with the purchase, rehab, and resale of foreclosure properties in California and Texas. In 2014, she joined Pulitzer Properties where she managed its portfolio of multi family properties in Bend, Oregon.

When Jenny is not entering a closing journal entry, or refining Jaffa’s marketing presence, she loves to spend time with her family traveling and kayaking.

Susana Caldera

Susana Caldera

As Regional Manager, Susana oversees our properties in and around Austin, Texas. Since joining Jaffa at age 19, she has grown into a polished and powerful professional who earns the respect of all residents, vendors, and colleagues.

Born in Monterey, Mexico and raised in Dallas, Texas, Susana has stuck up for herself since childhood. As the youngest (and only) sister of four, she’s navigated life with determination and grit. No matter what project or problem is thrown her way, Susana simply gets the job done.

When she's not jogging along the riverfront or exploring new restaurants in Austin, Susana loves hanging out with her son.

Royce Nelson

Royce Nelson

As Regional Manager, "Rolls" Royce oversees our portfolio of apartments and manufactured housing communities in Spokane, WA. Since we entered the market in 2018, he has executed on the complete turnaround of three apartment complexes - from gut renovation to lease-up.

Royce was born and raised on his family's 3rd generation cattle ranch in Arco, Idaho. Following high school, he earned his BS in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Idaho State University, which he used to scout real estate opportunities for his family, and for his job with the largest property management firm in Idaho Falls.

When Royce is not commissioning with local artists for amenity-area murals or attending planning commission hearings, he's spending quality time with his family exploring local museums, parks, and trails.
